With SeeLab® GX, match, produce and control all colors, even with effects

On the production line of your product, any Quality Control out of tolerances has consequences: deadline extension of putting conformity, cost of material to be added, even waste of production time if the correction fails. To eliminate these risks and enable you to produce right, SeeLab® has designed the software GX for spectrocolorimetric anaylsis.

One module for each need

Three modules are available in SeeLab GX:

GX QCThe Color Quality Control: whatever your colors are with or without effect, opaque/transparent or translucent, GX QC controls it compared to a standard. It quantifies gaps in chromatic values (L*a*b*C*h°) whatever the selected angles measurement.

GX PRODThe Quality Control with Integrated Correction on Production Lines: in addition to GX QC, GX PROD integrates a batch management with a correction of batches including real produced quantities.

GX MATCHThe Color-Matching and Correction in the laboratory: create your own database to characterize optical constants of all the colored raw materials (with or without effects) like varnish, solvent, pigments, aluminum, pearl… Then, start the matching by choosing optimal criteria (materials, metamerism, price, DE* regarding angles…). You could fix several physical criteria like UV resistance or pigment loading.

A specific add-on for color with effects

GX EFFECT specific add-on is combined to the three GX modules for color with effects.

Conform to all standards

SeeLab GX delivers color analysis conform to CIE 1934, CIE 1971 and CIE 94, CIE 2000 standards.

Navigate in your database

Save in your database any type of data:

  • Standard
  • Sample
  • Background (wavelength and reflectance for white and black background)
  • Batch
  • Formula
  • Letdowns
  • Material with full description:
    • Reference / code
    • Diluant / diffusant / absorbant / colorant / additive / Relative.
    • Quantity / dilution / density / viscosity / price
    • Calculation of optical constants
    • Creation of schematic formula

SeeLab GX design is user-oriented: easily access to your data by advanced research and sort:

  • Advanced research: on folder type / on all folders
  • Sort by Average: Spectral, DE, Metamerism
  • Sort by Angles: Spectral, DE, Metamerism
  • Sort by Average + Angle: Spectral, DE, Metamerism
  • Sort proposed samples and standards upward/downward: not only by color gap, illuminant, indices but also cost !

And don’t forget to save your sort and research criteria for next time !
